The common problem once you have
colds is headache accompanied with stuffy nose. Sometimes you will feel also
drowsiness and even muscles aches. Most people can identify if there are
attacking by the virus because it is resulted to common colds.
If you don’t know what is colds,
it is the respiratory infections caused by virus not just one but hundreds of
viruses. The viruses inside our body cannot kill by any over-the-counter drugs
but it depends in our body defense system called immune system. If you have
strong immune system, you can easily relieve by this condition. That’s why,
most people if they have colds, they usually drink or eat fruits and vegetables
which high in vitamin C.
Basically, viruses attack the
mucous layer of our nose and even throat and they will append to the cells
there. They will make some holes there to penetrate the cell membranes and
getting some advantages to form a viral genetic substance to get inside to our
cells. With a short period of time, they can produce thousands of viruses and
they can take over to our cells easily.
Due to the viral assault, our
body defense system will respond like for example in our nose and throat, they
will inhibit some chemical substance that can ember our immune system. However, as the cold war goes on, our body
will counterattacks with the body heavy artillery white blood cells. It is
called monocytes and lymphocytes, our body’s antiviral drug and many of the
proteins also in our body flow in the blood plasma and help the white blood
cells to identify the viruses and can easily destroy by them.
People will think that the symptoms
that they are experiencing as cold are the bodily response of our immune system,
so, it is very normal to feel that.
However, those people find hard
time to cure their colds, there are some strategy to win the battle in cold war
and can help you to feel at ease and fast recovery.
Consume ample of fluids. To keep away from any dehydration because
cold can drain your fluids in your body, so much as possible drink more water
aside from that, it can thin the mucus in your nose and throat.
Sip more chicken soup. The most valuable hot fluids if you have
colds are the chicken soap. According to some experts, it can help clear out
our nasal passages if you sip plenty of it.
Take some rest. If you have colds, you must think that it is not
good to work your job because it can affect your performance and even your
work, so much better to rest in bed to have a full and fast recovery.
Warm bodies. Stay indoors
and keep warm always if you have cold. Because when you warm always, you will
feel more comfortable and if you have a fever go together with your cold.
Gargle with hot salt water. If you have cold, try to gargle with
hot salt water because it helps to loosen the mucus and soothing the inflammation
of your tissues and salt water is the best astringent.
Eat foods which high in Vitamin C.
It is recommended that if you have cold, much better to eat a fruit
which is high in vitamin C because it helps the immune system to become stronger
in fighting the viruses. It can boost the defense system in our body and it can
speed it up our healing process.
